VersionHistory enables you to easily display the history of a file to help understand the decisions which were made during its evolution. You can see who worked on the document and when it was modified. This enables you to discover possible problems in your work method or bugs in the software. It is also an invaluable tool to improve the time spent with your VAR support team.

VersionHistory shows the history of a SolidWorks file. All the versions of SolidWorks in which the file has been saved are listed; this list can be exported to a text file. The tool can also show feature history for a more detailed examination.
