SearchPaths

Utilize a more powerful way to define file paths for SolidWorks.

If you reorganize a project folder, SolidWorks prompts you to define the new location of referenced files when you open a drawing or an assembly. To avoid having to tell SolidWorks where the files are each time you open a document, you can predefine search locations for these files. This tool has a user-friendly interface, and it can search subfolders and use filters, in addition to the standard SolidWorks features.

SearchPaths makes it easier for SolidWorks to find referenced documents when opening a drawing or an assembly. You can filter folders according to the types of files they contain. i.e. you can select folders with part files, or only folders with assembly files.
